Why Health?

Health is one of the most important aspects our lives. Without good health we truly are limited in all the things we can do; but with it so many things become possible for us and we can really enjoy life to it’s full potential. Why have our health limit us when we can have our health launch us? It’s because of this I feel so passionate to start this blog and share things helping me along my health journey and I really hope the same for you.

This blog will go into all things natural – particularly for those interested in herbal medicine and healthy food that nourishes the organs and systems so our bodies enabling them to work for optimal health. I hope this inspires encourages you to look into ways of living adjust to your culture and what you have access to. As someone who has experienced the power of herbal medicine and eating certain food while still enjoying my own cultural diet I thought – why can’t it be this was for us all? It can! We can truly achieve more health without having to sacrifice too much of the food we love, the taste of our cultural cuisine and this blog will explore how we can do this together.

My experience – your future

My MSc Public Health degree taught me the social determinants of health – what these are and how they affect our health.

My experience working in hospital showed me the reality of the health of the population and the need to improve our health.

My life experience showed me just how much of an impact health can have on our daily life (even with a healthy diet).
